Shortcut Keys
Learn how to drive Sapience without using your mouse!
You can drive Sapience mostly with your keyboard. These shortcut keys are advertised in the app, but here’s a summary.
Global Shortcut Keys
You can use these anywhere in the app:
- Search: Alt + F on Windows, Option + F on Mac. This will launch a window from anywhere in the app that defaults to searching the Sapience workspace. Similar to Ctrl + P in Cursor or VS Code for devs.
- New Note: Alt + N (option + N on Mac) will create a new Note, and let you choose from a template.
Shortcut Keys in Notes
Notes is a document editor like Evernote, Notion or Google Docs and is designed to be driven from the keyboard. For all of these, they’re listed with Windows keys, on Mac use Option instead of Alt.
Write with AI: type the @ symbol with a space in-front of it to launch the Write With AI window.
Voice Dictation & AI Voice: Alt + V in Notes.
Bold: Cntrl + B
Underline: Ctrl + U
Italics: Ctrl + I
Task: Type in [ ] (without the space)
Level 1, 2, 3 Headings: Alt + 1, 2 or 3
Clear formatting: Alt + C
