Connecting Your Apps

Overview
Sapience agents get far more useful when they can reach the tools you already use. Connected Apps lets you link accounts like Gmail, Outlook, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Notion, LinkedIn and more — so an agent can, with your permission, do things like "find that file in my Dropbox", "email this via Gmail", or "check my Outlook".
You'll find Connected Apps in the left sidebar (available on eligible plans — see below).
Where to find it
Open the Connected Apps section in the sidebar. Apps are grouped into two tiers:
- Individual — everyday personal apps.
- Enterprise — business systems (these require an Enterprise plan).
Each app shows a status dot:

Individual apps
Gmail: Read and send email on your behalf
Outlook (Microsoft Email): Read and send email on your behalf
Google Drive / OneDrive: Find and pull in your files
Dropbox: Find and pull in your files
Notion: Read and work with your Notion content
LinkedIn: Work with your LinkedIn content, publish posts
Google Sheets: Read and update your spreadsheets
Canva: Work with your Canva designs
Enterprise apps (require an Enterprise plan)
Microsoft SharePoint, Salesforce, HubSpot, SAP, Xero, and Workday — are all available for you to connect if you have an Enterprise seat. Note though that there are more than 200 enterprise apps we support, check this article for more information:
The exact apps you see, and which are connectable, evolve as new self-esrvice integrations go live. Your sidebar always reflects what's currently available to you.
How to connect an app
- Open Connected Apps in the sidebar.
- Click the app you want (one showing an open circle).
- Follow the secure sign-in prompt for that service and approve access.
- When it's done, the app shows a green dot — it's connected and ready.
Once connected, just ask an agent naturally — "email this summary to my team via Gmail", "grab the latest deck from my Dropbox" — and it will use the linked app.
Good to Know
- You're always in control. Actions that touch an outside app (sending an email, posting, changing a record) happen because you asked — an agent offers or acts on your instruction, it doesn't fire off side-effects on its own.
- Your connections are yours. A connected account is linked to you; connecting an app doesn't expose it to anyone else.
- Availability depends on your plan. Connected Apps appears for eligible accounts, and Enterprise apps need an Enterprise plan. If you don't see the section, it isn't enabled for your account.
