Overview
Sapience ships with a library of built-in agents — ready-made AI assistants you can start using immediately. Some are general-purpose (a broad, capable helper you can point at almost anything), and many are specialists with deep expertise in one domain (law, medicine, quality frameworks, finance, sales, design, and more).
This article is the complete catalogue: for every built-in agent, it explains why it exists, what it does, how it helps, and when to reach for it — with real example prompts you can try.

How to use any agent
- Pick it from your agent list, or start a chat with it directly.
- Each agent greets you with starter prompts — click one to begin, or just type your own.
- Not sure which to use? Ask the Sapience Agent (the general-purpose guide) "What agents do I have and what are they good at?" and it'll point you to the right specialist.
A note on models: each agent runs on a specific AI model, listed below. The best agent for a job is usually chosen by its specialty, not its model — a specialist with the right knowledge and tools beats a bigger general model most of the time.
1. General-Purpose Sapience Agents
These are broad, do-many-things assistants. They share the same "Sapience Agent" character but run on different underlying AI models, so you can pick the brain you prefer. The lighter ones are great for getting oriented and finding the right specialist; the fully-featured one is the Swiss-army knife.

- What it does: answers general questions, helps you navigate the platform, and points you toward the right specialist agent or skill for the actual work.
